Today, with the advancing technology, widespread sedentary lifestyle, unbalanced and inadequate nutrition, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular diseases are frequently encountered. Along with these physical diseases, the increase in the loss of mental, spiritual and social abilities in various degrees causes an increase in the number of disabled individuals. As a result, the need for health personnel to work in the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and rehabilitation of disabled individuals has increased in our country.
Muş Alparslan University Vocational School of Health Services, Therapy and Rehabilitation Department was opened in 2016 and started to admit students to the Physiotherapy Program and Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Programs in 2020. In our department; It is aimed to provide services to eliminate the negativities caused by all other conditions such as illness, pain, disability, old age, injury, which significantly affect public health and cause social and economic losses. In this context, it is aimed to enable people to participate in social life and fulfill their social roles, to increase their quality of life, to protect and improve their physical functions.
It is aimed that our graduate students will be dynamic, forward-thinking, high-communication skills, strong analytical skills, able to work with different interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary professional groups, respectful to ethical values and developed human love.
Our aim is to provide you with a fully equipped competence in terms of both practical and theoretical aspects, regulating the physical activities of healthy, disabled or sick individuals who want to benefit from health services, increasing their mobility, determining, planning and applying application protocols by making measurements and tests related to your profession.
